At Chitra Goenka Crafts & Creations, we craft each piece with love and precision to bring beauty into your home. We want you to be delighted with your purchase. If something isn't quite right, we make returns simple and hassle-free. Please review our policy below to understand your options.

Eligibility for Returns

  • Timeframe: You may return eligible items within 5 days from the date of delivery.
  • Condition: Items must be unused, in their original packaging, with all tags, labels, and accessories intact. Due to the handmade nature of our crafts, minor imperfections are part of their unique charm and not grounds for return.
  • Eligible Items: Most products qualify, including decor pieces, textiles, and furnishings. Personalized or custom-made items are not eligible for return unless they arrive damaged or defective.

Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns on:

  • Personalized, monogrammed, or custom orders.
  • Perishable items like fresh flowers or incense (if applicable).
  • Items damaged due to improper handling, misuse, or unauthorized modifications.
  • Clearance or final-sale products (clearly marked at checkout).

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact Us: Email us at chitragoenka.in@gmail.com or WhatsApp +91-9875691517 within 5 days of delivery. Include your order number, item details, and photos of the issue.
  2. Receive Instructions: We'll provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and prepaid return label (for eligible cases).
  3. Ship Back: Pack the item securely and ship it to our Kolkata warehouse using the provided label. Drop off at your nearest courier partner (e.g., DTDC, Blue Dart).
  4. Refund Processing: Once we receive and inspect the item (typically 3-5 business days), we'll process your refund within 7 business days.

Refunds

  • Full Refund: For unused, eligible items returned in original condition.
  • Partial Refund: May apply for items with odors, minor wear, or missing parts.
  • Method: Refunds issued to your original payment method. Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
  • Exchanges: We happily offer exchanges for the same item in a different size/color (subject to availability). Contact us to arrange.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:

  • Report within 48 hours of delivery with photos.
  • We'll arrange a free replacement or full refund—no return shipping needed.

Shipping Considerations

  • We ship from Kolkata, West Bengal, via trusted partners. Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the issue is our fault.
